Reflect, Reengage, and Recreate
Through the joint effort of Black Lives Matter Bermuda (BLM) and the Peaceful Art Protest, the gallery hosted a display of social justice artworks commemorating and continuing to champion the work of BLM Bermuda.
The Peaceful Art Protest was created for artists and creatives to illustrate their support of BLM and the march for Black lives that took place in 2020. One year on, the two organizations joined forces to “reflect, reengage and recreate," asking artists, students, and members of the public to continue the conversations that BLM Bermuda had and continues to highlight.
There was a special reception on the anniversary of the march, June 7th, 2021.
