Jasmine Lee (b. 1996, she/her) is a curator and artist based in Bermuda. She sees exhibitions as powerful platforms for social engagement, cultural reflection, and critical discourse. Her research is interested in the resonance and dissonance of Bermuda in relation to the Caribbean, and is keen to see how exhibition making might bridge these gaps, particularly with respect to the arts and visual culture. Her curatorial practice is committed to continuing to broaden the scope, and definition, of contemporary art and artists, particularly in Bermuda but also within the wider Caribbean region. In Bermuda, her curatorial work centres on supporting contemporary artists through the Charman Prize Biennial, and the Rick Faries Gallery at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art. She also values her role as a member of the Bermuda Arts Council, as this provides another way for her to tangibly support and help develop local artists.
Currently, she is one of the 2024-25 Curatorial Fellows with New Curators in London, UK, on secondment from her role as Museum & Gallery Exhibitions Officer at Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
